Detroit Press recently Caught Vii out and about in the town at a sneaker boutique trying on and browsing the exclusive sneaker selections. "I love sneakers! I think a woman should have a pair or two or more. lmao. Women and our shoes.. sneakers or heels or flats. I love heels but sneakers are more for me right now, Especially with my style they complete the look." After gaining popularity from her cover of Aaliyah's one in a million on youtube, Vii thought of more musical projects to do. Her own written words sung to the beats of J.Cole's Workout and Waka's Round of Applause Gained her more popularity on the world wide web. Many followers and fans requested that she release a "Mixtape" because they love how she sung over beats most singers will probably never sing over. Then they adored her blunt words and stories. Vii finally gathered enough tracks some over other artists beats and some original beats and compiled the "Lipgloss & My composition Book" Mixtape. The title is very catchy and fans looved it. Vii said "The title came about from many night of having my notebook and lipgloss around and like these things triggered stories or real events and clever topics. Its unique and interesting the title itself draws you in." She will release a few independent videos for the songs featured on this mixtape."I'm excited to see how this whole thing unfolds.This project was a lot of fun".
